A game mimicking the popular Rovio Mobile offering 'Angry Birds' and inspired by Anna Hazare's fight against corruption, has taken the web by storm.
The game called 'Angry Anna', developed by Noida-based Geek Mentors Studio, allows players to lob Anna bombs at targets like Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Suresh Kalmadi, P Chidambaram and Kapil Sibal, with the aim of destroying them.
The players also have the option of Baba Ramdev and Kiran Bedi 'bombs' and the players shout 'Jai Hind!' once a level is completed.
The game had gotten over one thousand Facebook likes on Friday and was even a trending topic on Twitter's India list. Also within a day of its launch on Wednesday, the game had been played 42,000 times.
Angry Birds was a worldwide hit and has seen 300 million downloads globally since its launch in 2009. In the original game, birds were launched to destroy pigs on the playfield.
